
Fancy a cuppa? Sure, but think of where the plastic is going when you pop the used bag in the bin. If you have a compost heap – fantastic! (You can even have a small one on your balcony or porch if you don’t have a garden).
Try and avoid these, which still (unfortunately) have plastic: PG Tips, Tetley, Twinings 'heat-sealed' and 'string and tag' ranges, Yorkshire Tea & Lidl own brand.
Some brands that offer plastic free teabags (including packaging) which I love are: Abel & Cole, Clipper, Co-op own brand 99, Pukka Herbs, Teapigs, Twinings pyramid range & Waitrose Duchy range. Problem is, they tend to be pricey. We'll continue the search!
